Update July 24, 2008
No more painting but lots of masking tape all over the yellow background. Could that all be rivers? I will just have to wait and see. CLICK on to see the masking tape outlines.

Turtle Place update July 23, 2008
Lilly seemed to want another update so I took the bus downtown and took some more photos. I see they are working more on the taping today. IF you CLICK on photos, they will enlarge and you can see the myriads of lines they have taped, probably for more river outlets. . . not sure tho. Will just have to wait and see.

Turtle Place Adds Blue to Mural
I had errands downtown and took a photo Monday and Tuesday of the Turtle Place project. I can hardly wait to see it finished. When the mural is completed, they will add the fountain and benches --all made from recycled items.

The Project has Started!
I dropped by Turtle Place and was excited to see they have started painting the mural for this new project. The person painting it has done several murals around Vancouver in the past.

I was walking past the old transit center to the grand opening of a new fudge shop when I spotted this sign announcing a new project coming to the area:
